On Sunday, Kuwaiti rally champion Mishary Al-Thafiri won first place over first group (MERC.2) in the Cyprus International Rally in the framework of the Middle East Rally Championship.

Al Dhafiri said at the conclusion of the championship, which started on Saturday and ended on Sunday, that the race was tired in terms of the nature of the land and its ruggedness, and we faced some problems that we were able to overcome and achieve the best results.

He expressed his pride as a Kuwaiti contestant for challenging the difficulties to participate in the tournament taking place in light of the outbreak of the new Corona virus - Covid 19 and achieving first place in the MERC2 group.

For the sixth time and third place in the overall ranking.
